How Missoula County Public Works overcame their fleet management challenges with SureBus™

Missoula County required multiple bids to be submitted for this project. Fortress Mobile was awarded the contract for Missoula County Public Works (MCPW.) As a result MCPW was able to view live GPS with one of the fastest refresh rates in the industry, as well as being able to add safety for their drivers with a dashcam.

Missoula County Public Works (MCPW) maintains over 1,500 miles of public roadways in Missoula County. This includes approximately 474 miles of road which have been accepted for maintenance. Of these 474 miles, approximately 232 miles is paved, and 242 miles is gravel. Work includes road repairs, right-of-way maintenance, paving, graveling, grating, dust abatement, and snow removal.

In 2018, MCPW was looking for a reliable GPS product for their vehicles. MCPW was looking for a solution to track and protect its drivers, increasing the safety, accountability, and dependability of their fleet.

They also used dash cam cameras for added safety inside the vehicle. This setup for MCPW includes Fortress SureBus™ software capabilities and Mobile App.
