After speaking with the sales team and going through a demo of the product, Fortress Mobile was the awarded vendor for the installation of the solution for the vehicles by Gulf & Atlantic Maritime Services (GAMS). Gulf & Atlantic Maritime Services (GAMS) provides portside maritime services as terminal operators and stevedores, specializing in the handling of steel, alloys, ro-ro, project cargo, heavy-lift cargo, bulk and break-bulk cargos in South Carolina. Services extend to warehouse operations and management, along with trans-loading bulk and break-bulk cargo.

In 2018, GAMS was searching for a solution that would allow them to monitor their employees while traveling to job sites. GAMS needed a solution that increased the safety, accountability, and dependability of their fleet.

Fortress Mobile equipped 5 of GAMS’ vans with its A4D DVRs (4-Channel). They used three (3) cameras for live surveillance on the vehicle and its occupants. This setup for GAMS also includes Fortress Mobile’s SureBus™ software capabilities and Mobile App that features an event marker allowing expedited retrieval and review processes. With the Auto-Download feature, they could instantly retrieve, download, and review needed videos. The system also records the GPS coordinates providing the synchronized vehicle location, speed, and direction of travel digitally displayed under a map in the playback section of SureBus™.
